I enjoy how long this roosting bar is because my chickens hate being close to each other, so this saves me money now that I don’t have to buy separate ones. There is plenty of space for two of my chickens to use this bar at once will still feeling safe and secure. Also, love that it is made in the USA!

I have a parrot, Pete. He was pretty happy I brought him home a new structure. Believe it or not, I put this in my kitchen so Pete can watch me cook and I don't have to deal with him on my shoulder! Thanks Backyard Barnyard -Pete

I have a parrot and I was a bit skeptical because I would think this is only for chickens, but my parrot Chuck really enjoys this! Chuck won’t stop hounding me about getting out of his cage to get on “his” perch. A must have for Chuck and me!

My chickens tend to get greedy and do not let other chickens on, but occasionally they share. No more than two of my chickens have been on it at a time. It does take up some space in my coop, keep in mind if you have a smaller coop.

It rains a lot where I live, so the perch kept getting pushed into the mud...that or my chickens are overweight and are weighing it down in the mud. My chicks are enjoying this perch, a lot of them fit too because it is longer. I'd say it's pretty sturdy if my fat birds haven't snapped it yet Could be bigger though. I wouldn't recomend this for anything but a solid surface.

Its a good idea and easy to assemble. Bert keeps knocking it over but he’s a pretty aggressive boy.
