We had our 5 year old cat spayed today and she kept taking her cone off so we bought her a vest, but everytime we leave the room she somehow manages to get out of it! What shall I do? She isn't biting the stitches, just cleaning them then leaving them alone. Thanks
Hi, I wanted to know if my cat has been healing properly. She was spayed at April 2nd and now it's been almost a week. She's been bouncing around, eating, sleeping, uses the litter box regularly and etc... She has disolvable sutures. And I decided to buy her a little post op surgical suit because it's hard for her to eat and use the bathroom with the cone (she's escapes the cone). Do you have any advice on before and after the cone? the pictures from the left are from day one up to today.
Hello! My little kitty had sutures put in yesterday for a superficial wound. I was just curious, I’m worried about him continuing to take his cone off. Would it be okay if I made him a little jacket that covers it so he can’t get to it still. As long as he’s not locking and biting at it right?
Hi I have a 2 year old calico who was spayed on Friday 3/22. We have tried all thins from a cone to a suit to keep her from licking her stitches. She freaks out and flips around until the e collar come off. Worried we are doing more harm than good. Also have many scratches...
I neutered my male dog yesterday and he was on with the E collar(cone) but from yesterday he wants to take it off non stop and didn’t sleep at night at all. And he partially ruiend the cone and managed to chew it! Is there another way except the cone?I heard of the surgical suits. Will it be helpful?I attached the suite Thank you in advance
Nala will be getting spayed very soon and I was wondering what would be the best effective recovery cone to use on her considering she is a semi large dog. As well make her feel more comfortable
I had my cat spayed Saturday i noticed she has licked her incision a little bit i bought a collar but she fought till shw had it kicked off with her back feet do uhave any suggetions
My 3 month old kitten just got neutered , I tried using the cone/collar but he manages to take it off each and every time resulting in licking his stitches what can I do? Also I replaced his usual clay litter to paper pellets and he doesnt even go #1 or #2 but rather eat the pellets. Any suggestions? Thank you
Is this OK for my cat, Amelia to wear while she has to be on an antibiotic due to feline acne? Is the cone to big for her?
Do you think my dogs stitches are healing well from being spayed she wears the cone since she left the vets
Luna started scratching herself again, it's always on her head around her ears so I need to protect those areas. I don't want to make her uncomfortable with a cone again so I was thinking some sort of hat would be a good idea. I saw some ideas online (pictures) but I don't know where to buy one or how to make one.
Our cat is 3 days post- spay, and has been miserable in her cone, so we tried out a tube stock instead. She was immediately more alert, and we struggled to keep her from climbing everywhere and being active. We noticed a tiny spot of blood on the sock a few hours later, along with a tiny amount of dried blood around her incision. There is a small amount of swelling that may have been there prior, no pain on palpation or change in behavior. Should we go in to the vet?
