A scratch appeared on fredericks nose just between his eyes. From where I don't know. I was fine and scabbed over within a few days and then he scratched it and the scab can off, making the wound bigger and deeper. He has continued to do this 3 or 4 times. And at each time just before healing he reopens it. The vet gave us a cone for his head and thas been on 6 days now but tonight he rubbed his nose (which was healing well) on a corner sofa and it reopened. What can I do to help him. Please tha

My cat had a chemical burn from hartz flea powder a few months back and every time it heals she scratches it back open. Now it has another one on the bottom of her neck and the original once has gotten bigger and infected... What should I do? Ive had a vet come but all she did was give us burn cream which irritated it further. I'm very worried and need help. What actions should I take to keep my baby healthy and to help her heal?

I have 2 ferral cats I took in. They have been doing excelent and I nabbed 2 more of the next litter and they are doing excellent. They have been inside 1 month. They are Karats. The oldest are males and the young ones female. The male got sick then 4 days later the other male did. Their symptoms are lethargy, lack of eating/drinking and now throwing up. The only new difference is scented litter instead of non. The vomit is watery. I treated ea for hair balls and feed them food for hairballs.

I have an 8 year old tabby female cat and she has a wound which looks to be a cut on her paw. The vet gave her antibiotics that lasts 2 weeks a couple days before Xmas and we dipped her paw with the cleaning medicine prescribed but it made her vomit when she licked it so we stopped and the wound scabbed, she stopped limping and licking but she recently just reopened the cut during a cat fight and is limping again. Should we just start the dip again or make an emergency appointment? Thank you

My cat has a sore on his upper lip and one under his chin i believe its from him having a plastic water dish what can i do to heal them? I attached two photos of the one on his lip

I tried a flea collar on my cats (one male and one female) and my female cat seemed to have a reaction of some sort. She began scratching the top of her head with her bacj claws, and actually took out two patches of hair. She is very sensitive, and has food allergies. I am unsure if the reaction was to the collar or flea bites. I immediately took the collar off both cats, figuring if only he had one one they'd attack her. How do I proceed as far as the fleas go. Treating her wound w coconut oil.

This cat usually stays with us , then leaves but one time he never came and 3 days ago he came back bleeding not sure what happened . I want to clean it up with cotton swabs but not sure what kind of cream to put . Don't have enough money to take her to the vet I'm taking care of one of my dogs

Took 12 week old kitten to vet. He said she has an umbilical hernia and will correct when spaying in a few months... handled her roughly. Worried he burst her hernia because now she is acting like she is in pain and can't get comfortable. We felt her hernia and it has grown at least 3 times in size. Is this a life or death situation or can we wait to bring her for early spaying/hernia surgery tomorroe morning when vet opens? We can't afford emergency overnight surgery price at the animal hospita

Kitten, 6 months, i problem but lost it, puss out nose and green stuff out of eyes. used Terramycin for eye and no help. Kitten lethargic,oriented and twitching now, tried to get antibiotic through dr foster and cannot without approval. Also today quit eating. What is possible for help
