Cats may occasionally get intimidated by something bigger and louder than them. They also might get upset over a change in routine or moving home. At Petco, our selection of calming supplements for cats may be the solution to help ease your kitty’s anxiety or stress.
It’s always a good idea to consult your veterinarian when trying to diagnose your pet’s ailments. Here are a few signs that a trip to the vet might be needed.
If you notice any of these symptoms, it’s time to consult a veterinarian. In addition to the treatment plan recommended by your vet, you may want to incorporate cat urinary treats into your kitty’s daily care in order to help stave off future infections.
Petco has some great solutions for cat anxiety relief. Our selection of calming cat chews, sprays and drops offer a variety of ways to help get your cat the relief they need.
We carry cat calming sprays that contain ingredients like catnip and honeysuckle that may act as a natural cat calming aid. Our cat diffusers release a synthetic pheromone that may be particularly beneficial in relaxing multiple cats, especially after moving. If your new home is far away, we carry cat travel anxiety medicine. We also have calming cat collars for more of an up-close and personal dispersal.
Shop online or visit any of our neighborhood Petco Pet Care Centers to find solutions for your stressed-out kitty.

What suplement/ drug can I give my cat to lightly sedate my cat for travel. He is very unhappy in the car and usually poops all over himself and the carrier within 10 minutes
I don’t want to use a tranquilizer, but my cat does not do very well in airports (especially having to carry her through security) are there any over the counter natural remedies to calm her nerves?
Hello! My 3-year-old male cat has always had a problem with separation anxiety. I taking a 3 day vacation & nervous that he will cry the entire time I'm gone, causing a headache for my roommates. It's also important to note I will be gone over the 4th of July. I'm considering the following products to prevent this: 1) Bach Rescue Remedy Pet 2) Nutri-Vet Pet-Ease Paw-Gel 3)4Paws PET Blend Natural Pet Care Hemp Supplement Which of these would work best/is recommended and safe for him to use?
Is it safe to give calming supplements when my dog is already on Gabapentin? She takes 100mg Gabapentin for anxiety every 12 hours. She still gets very stressed when I leave and barks, howls, and scratches. Is it safe to combine with calming chews with ingredients like 100 mg Chamomile, 50 mg Thiamine Mononitrate, 50 mg Passion Flower, 50 mg Ginger, 30 mg L-Tryptophan, 20 mcg Melatonin? Or is there another safe calming chew you’d recommend? Pheromones have not worked. Ideally to be taken daily.
Is there an over the counter supplement I can give my cat for interstitial cystitis? She's 8. Good appetite and very loving.
What do I do for my cat to reduce Stress if medicine seems to not help
I have been taking an adrenal supplement made from bovine adrenal and cortex. Can I give this to my elderly cat. She has been under a large amount of stress due to the addition of a dog to our family and previously was stressed by the addition of 2 cats. She is now afraid of them all!!
Is there anything I can give my cat OTC to calm it enough to take care of the mats?
I have a 2 year old female cat who has had severe anxiety since kittenhood. I have tried pheromone plug-ins, collars, sprays, and calming music. She is so skittish she runs when we approach her. I am looking for advice on medications, and our vet wants us to bring her in for an exam. This will make her anxiety a million times worse, so I am trying to avoid an in-person visit. Is there any medication that will help?
I'm planning a cross country move with my two rescue cats who are very anxious about change. Is there a reliable, low impact, over the counter sedative I could use on them before our 14 hour car ride? I don't want to them to necessarily sleep through the entire ride, but I'd like to at least calm them through the bulk of the trip.
What can I give to my cat to make her go to sleep
Are there any supplements that can be used safely to reduce anxiety in a pregnant dog?
