Description

Our veterinarian-formulated Calming Support features effective ingredients to promote relaxation for nervous, hyperactive or stressed pets. This custom combination of herbs, amino acids, neurotransmitters and probiotics, were chosen for their synergy and effectiveness for calmness. Within the gut, stress hormones such as cortisol can affect intestinal barrier integrity and immune signaling, and stress itself has been associated with changes in the composition of the gut microbiota. Featuring a clinically studied strain, L. Paracasei LPC-37, that promotes relaxation by way of the Gut-Brain Axis, our calming support is specifically designed to link the intestinal tract and brain to reduce stress. With its unique synergy of L-Theanine and GABA combined with a clinically studied probiotic strain proven to promote relaxation and manage normal stress, Fera's Calming Support helps steady their nerves and promote overall relaxation. Better mood = happier pet!

  • - CALMING AID - Fera's Calming supplement is a powerful mix of organic botanical herbs, neurotransmitters, and clinically studied probiotics for dogs and cats that promote maximum pet relaxation
  • - STRESS SUPPLEMENT - This vet-formulated calming supplement is made with KSM-66 Ashwagandha, an adaptogenic herb, and Organic Passion Flower that help reduce the effects of normal environmental stress and promote relaxation

  • - THE BEST INGREDIENTS - No hemp here! Dog hemp treats for calming use hemp as a marketing trick that associates hemp with calming. The truth is, hemp is a food ingredient that has essential fatty acids and no significant calming effects. We are all about effectiveness and transparency
  • - BEARS THE NASC QUALITY SEAL - Our all natural supplements are of the highest quality standards with no harmful or artificial preservatives. Made in the USA by FERA's CEO and Veterinarian Dr. Dulake. These supplements do not contain colors, dyes, or preservatives

I’ve been giving this to my girl for a while now. It seems to really help her. I’ve recommended it to others and they’ve all had positive results too.

Calming Support

I purchased 2 , I put it in Miss Kitty’s food . Early in the morning she had explosive diarrhea!! She didn’t use the litter box but went on my boots!! It’s was horrible! I haven’t use it since and no problems! I have been using the kidney supplement plus the lysine in the morning with no problems! I use the calming alone at her nighttime so it was definitely that!! Now I stuck with 2 containers of calm ( sigh) wish I took pictures but I was tooo upset!

I have nothing special to report

I just started using Fera Calming Support for Cats about 12 days ago, so it’s definitely too soon to notice any difference — especially since the product description clearly says it can take a few months to see results. The purchasing process itself was smooth, and the product arrived within a week, so no complaints there. That said, I did think it was odd that Fera sent me a request to review the PRODUCT this early. It doesn’t really make sense to ask for feedback on the product itself before there’s even time for it to work! I’ll try to come back and update my review in a few months if I remember — but no promises. For now, giving it 2 stars for a normal ordering experience and fair communication, but no visible results yet (which is to be expected at this point).

Dogs are more relaxed. We have a reactive barker but she is doing better with calming bites. She still barks but she has stopped going from window to window looking for a reason to bark.

Cat did not like taste

My cat did not like either the smell or taste and would not eat the wet food I mixed it in.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Early Days, but Fingers Crossed...

So far, this product may be helping, but my dog had only been on it for 10 days (with 1/2 dosage to start) and needs to be on it longer for the cumulative effect to be noticed. I believe the timeline is 4-6 weeks of constant use because as noted, it is designed for long term use. So early days still... BUT, do follow the directions by starting with 1/2 the dosage for 10 days, because I didn't (didn't read the instructions - my bad) and those first couple of days on this my dog had very soft stools. They are still soft, but he never had diarrhea. So if you are looking for long-term, not immediate results, this product could work for your dog (I didn't use it on my cat because if he got any calmer I would have to check his pulse!). For now, to bridge the gap, I will occasionally give my dog a short term calmer to help him. BTW, I have a senior boy that I adopted and have been working on his separation anxiety. I am using this product to help with that behavior training. Unfortunately, this boy will take more time then usual because he has abandonment issues (at almost 10 y/o he has had at least 5-6 homes that gave up on him).

Yes, I recommend this product.

Maybe it's working?

It seems to mostly be working well for the cat I have the most concern for - she's using the litter box again, thank goodness - and running around the house much freer than before, and she seems more confident with 3 of our other cats. However the 5th cat, a little younger than her, is also feeling more feisty - so they still tussle - and given that Kady is half the size of wanna-be-playful Seffie, it still turns quickly to yowls and upset. I'll keep using it for another month and see how it goes.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT AS WEEK AS QUICK RESULTS SEEN

I used this product for my Rhodesian Ridgeback dog as well as my tuxedo cat who has severe trauma / anxiety issues as well as slowly losing her eyesight inone eye. Within a week I noticed results with my canine and regards to her not tearing up my bed as a result of her separation anxiety as well as other behaviors were curved with using this product. I mostly got it for my anxiety ridden feline and I wanted to wait additional time before I posted accurate positive results as I've witnessed at far. Without the Calming powder from Fera, and she was very quick to jump - highly vertically at that - as well as freaking out when I slowly put my hand near her face due to her diminished vision. THIS POWDER 100% WORKED FOR HER POSITIVELY!! 🙌🙌I now notice that when I don't give her dose everyday or as much as I think is suitable for her at the time the anxiety definitely creeps back and she loudly displays it. I love the natural products and supplements provided as that was one of my first things I researched. FERA has not disappointed me with any of their products thus far such as the cardiac support that I bought for my male cat with a severe heart murmur. That works incredible for him and he's a senior. STOP LOOKING FOR SIMILAR PRODUCTS OR BETTER REVIEWS CUZ IT DOESN'T GET MUCH BETTER THAN THIS COMPANY AND THEY STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS! 💯👏👏😻😻🐕🐶🐾

Questions

1 - 2 of 2 Questions

Will this help at nail clipping time with my cats? One has to be pinned down on the floor to prevent serious scratches.

  1. Possibly, it definitely calmed my cat down but almost to where she was sleeping. And it took me a good week to get amount / doasge correct. I didn't want to give her too much. I would say it's worth a try.

Can this be mixed (and be effective) with dry food? One of my cats (I have 2, recently adopted seniors, and they don't get along) only eats dry food. Thanks!

  1. Hello! Yes, it can be mixed in or sprinkled on top of your cats dry food and will be just as effective. Let us know if you have any other questions!
