Questions
My 3 year old tabby, Grace, pulls the fur out on her back and leaves tufts all over the house. She also seems to have some anxiety and can get quite jumpy. I was looking to try a calming product. Would this product work for her?
can i give this to a month or so old kitten? we have to give him a bath for fleas but he hates the bath and it's too hard for us to get him to hold still enough to pick them out so i was hoping this would help him calm down a bit in the bath
Does this product come in larger sizes?
- Thank you for your question. We do apologize, at this time, the 30 count is the only size that we carry, but we will forward your suggestion.

- Thank you for your inquiry. These need to be given once daily for proper results.

What is the difference between the Composure for cats and small dogs and for cats only?
- Thank you for your question. The formulations for the small dog and cat products have the same amount of active ingredients. If you are wanting to purchase this product for your cat, we recommend purchasing the cat formula here: http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=29853.

Will this help skittish kitty
- Thank you for your quesiton. The VetriScience® Composure™ Bite Sized Chews for Cats would be a possible solution. Unforunately this may be a situation where some trial and error may be required.

how many composure chews can I safely give my cat in one day. Is it safe to use on a daily basis?
- I started the first day with 3 a day - I checked with my vet before I did it. I continued with 3 a day for about 10 days until she was really starting to settle down. then I went to 2 a day and we are hanging in there at that level and I see improvement every day. then I will go to 1 a day and stay there as long as necessary.

Can cats use the canine Composure chews?
- YES! I work for a veterinarian and we sell these products, in feline and dog versions. I have asked 3 different vets if the dog version would still be safe for cats and it is. The ingredients are EXACTLY the same. ONE dog treat equals the full 3 or 4 treat kitty version maximum. I safely feed my cat one of the dog treats during stressful situations and I believe they help her. I've been doing this for 2 years now with no issues. Using the dog ones is also more cost effective than feeding the cat ones.
