Hi, my husky has anxiety when it comes to loud noises and has developed a fear of the vet as well where she gets paranoid and a bit aggressive making it difficult to preform tests that she needs. We typically give her a benedryl before bad weather/fireworks that seems to calm her down a bit, should we do this before vet visits as well? Or do you have any other suggestions?

Good Evening Doctor. I have a 14 yr old Chihuahua who has lost a majority of both his sight and hearing. He has always had issues with severe anxiety, which I have attempted to treat naturally over the years with everything from CBD, to treats tailored to help with anxiety, as well as an extensive list of different tinctures, and calming supplements. However, over the past 8 months, his anxiety has become impossible to manage, and emotionally unbearable for both my poor dog and myself....
What options are there for a dog with anxiety. My 8yr. Old female has become sensitive to people coughing, fireworks,thunder/lightning. She will shake and try to find a place to hide.
Hello! My 3-year-old male cat has always had a problem with separation anxiety. I taking a 3 day vacation & nervous that he will cry the entire time I'm gone, causing a headache for my roommates. It's also important to note I will be gone over the 4th of July. I'm considering the following products to prevent this: 1) Bach Rescue Remedy Pet 2) Nutri-Vet Pet-Ease Paw-Gel 3)4Paws PET Blend Natural Pet Care Hemp Supplement Which of these would work best/is recommended and safe for him to use?
Has always had bad anxiety and stress with storms/fireworks-will constantly shake/pant/unsettled. The 4th was terrible for her. Everynight since the 4th she is showing same behavior from 9p-3a and it has not stormed/no fireworks. I keep fans, TVs on to drown out any noises, she can go into her safe space(bathtub) whenever she wants. Very distressing this behavior is continuing daily without any triggers. Don’t know if this is a medical issue or behavioral-can I give her anything? Please help
