Rather than a regular topper, this promotes proper digestion, especially for some of my older cats who are starting to have issues, especially with hairballs. Think of this rather as a preventative rather than a solution to a problem. It also helps the cats love it, but the pieces are a bit big, so I break them up. They love the nibs in the Raw Cage Free kibble, so this help them with them fix.
