could it be that Zymox ear exema drops cause my cat's eye pupils to over-dilate? i may have spritzed too much Zymox in voth her ears. or the fault was someone and something else . please let me know what you think about too much Zymox in her ears. thanks very much. obviously we can get to Dr. Fal at Fitzgerald's Veterinary if we have to. her eyes are better, but not okay after 17 hours. i thought it seems like belladonna and know i didn't give her Belladonna unless that's what Zymox is?
I cleaned my cats ears yesteryear as directed Zymox ear cleaning solution. Since then she hasn't been herself. Wobbly, not eating, also not hearing us call her name.
My dog has a bump on his left back paw. The first day I had been putting neosporin the bump and wrapping it. The second day I went to the nearest pet store and purchased Zymox and sprayed that, put neosporin on and wrapped it. Today would be the third day and I have let it air out some but he licks it constantly. I have also been washing it today with soap and water and putting only the Zymox on it. The first two photos are the first day and the last is today. What is this and what should I do?
My dog has a lot of ear problems infection and allergies. I bought 250 amoxicillin today in Mexico because its what my vet in Alabama gives her but i can't remember how much to give her. I'm also giving her zymox otic ear drops.
My 15 year old male Chihuahua was put on Temaril P & Zymox for his ears. His ears are no longer red, so I stopped using it. But he is still taking the Temaril P because of the cough, allergies. I'm giving him 1/2 pill every other day. But he still itches & coughs the day after I give him the pill. Can he take it everyday? Or should he be taking an allergy med instead?
My dos is a beagle. She is suffering an inflammation on her left ear's pinna or ear flap. This inflammation looks like if she has water inside or retainning liquid, like an small ball of water. She have had an otitis during last 2 weeks. Is it this related to her otitis and what medicine do I have to give her to reduce this inflamation? For the otitis I have used zymox and washing her ear every day.
Cat has ear mites. I’m waiting for first dose of Revolution to kick in (applied 2 weeks ago). I have been cleaning his ears pretty well with Zymox and cotton balls but I’m sure there’s still mites left in his ears where I can’t get to. I hate to see him suffer with such itchy ears. Is there an over the counter treatment I can pick up somewhere?
My dog has acne on his chin and on his sides of his upper lip. He also has some on his leg. He is a blue nose pitbull and 1 year with 4 months. After is pops it leaves a scab. I use Zymox Lp3 enzyme system to decrease the inflammation sometimes it works and it lessens the acne. But at times it don’t and it comes back. I also used Vaseline.
i took my 8 year old Vizsla/pit bull mix to the Vet a year ago, because she constantly shakes her head(like a wet dog would do) They found no ear infection, but still prescribed an ear gel called Zymox Otic. It didnt help, in fact, she lost her hearing for a few days, so I stopped giving it to her. She still shakes her head constantly, and itches her ears slowly. It really bothers her. Any clue as to the cause of this? Vet bills can be costly, so I thought I would ask here. Thank you! -Casey
My bully mix has an itchy skin issue and I was hoping you could recommend a medicated shampoo. We have seen several vets and they have each recommended a different shampoo so I'm not sure what would be best. I would like something antifungal and antibacterial (Chlorhexidine?). I've been told Zymox, Duoxo, Henry Schein, and several others. What ingredients should I look for? I'm currently using Pharmaseb. Unfortunately I don't have any more money for vets now so this is my first line treatment.
My 5 yr old Scottie has been on allergy shots & 5.4 Apoquel since 3-4 mos old. We are trying to get him off Apoquel since he has done well. I have been giving 1/2 tablet / day for approx 2 mos and his skin is very dry, flaky now which causes him to scratch. Mostly belly area but under arms is a little scaly although Hydrocortisone cream & Aloe based gel has helped. Anything I can use to help with the dry, flaky skin? Oatmeal shampoo doesn't seem to help. Been using Zymox shampoo/conditioner.
My poor dog suffers from bad yeast infections in the ears. I can't get her to a vet for at least a couple weeks and I found this product online and I want to make sure it's safe to use in her yeast infection in her ears. The product is called ILIUM EAR DROPS 20ml. They contain the following: Dichlorophen 5mg/mL, Lignocaine HCI 5mg/mL, Piperonyl butoxide 5mg/mL, Pyrethrins 500µg/mL
