How do I help my lovebird with the growing of feathers. Bottom right
Hey is there any spray to keep my birds feathers healthy please suggest?
Thank you so much for your help!! I'm so happy the budgies have started to eat vegetables. I gave them grated carrots. The carrots have caused the fur under their beak to become quite orange, how should I clean it? I don't know how to give them a bath. I'm working on hand taming, I really want a close bond with them but it's hard as we have decided not to clip their wings and there are 2 of them, seems like they have a good bond with each other. How should I get them to bath!?
I was recently given a pair of lovebirds and one has a severe plucking problem. They both eat the same food and the other one looks perfectly healthy. The one that has the plucking problem also appears to have a lot of anxiety, he is very skittish and will bite when handled. His picking has been let go to the point where he literally has scabs on his back.
I want some tips to keep my budgies disease free.
One of my lovebirds has a skin problem. It has lost feathers from the bottom of the body due to itching. Its inner skin can be seen clearly, somewhat reddish in color. I hope its an infectious one....what can I do doc?
Hope you are doing good I have two lovebirds When i bought them they were around 5 weeks old.One of them had a yellowish toe which was swollen as well. After a few weeks here in my house his toe/finger has worsened. The sweeling is even more its like a blister now near his nail.He moves around with great difficulty and keeps his toe up while sitting. Can you please guide me.
How to bath my budgie
I have 2 healthy bonded male/female zebra finches approximately 8-10 months old. Everything is proper in their cage with 2 hanging toys and bone. They eat a finch seed food and fresh water. The female though began going bald soon after purchase exposing her back of neck and most of her back. They seem healthy and happy regardless. Very bonded. What can I do to help her? And is it normal that she has not yet laid an egg? Please help.
My budgies has very sticky poop and it's very difficult to clean by me also. Her vent area is also now pink color without any feathers. She is eating good but don't know about water intake. Plz suggest something homely.
I have 2 budgies a male and a female and they live in a medium-sized cage and I noticed that they scratch themselves a lot so i gave them a bath but that didn't stop them from scratching and i don't know what to do but what really made me worried is that today while i was cleaning their cage i found a drop of blood at the bottom of the cage so i checked them but i didn't find any sign of blood on their bodies so i hope you can help me.
I have a love bird. It's breathing rapidly, what to do
