Questions
How long is it safe to keep this bird food in their cage for. It's there a time frame. Does it go bad after hrs in cage.????
- I sprinkle a 1/2 teaspoon on my finches seed once daily. I have never had a problem with it going bad.

Because of the Avian Viruses, is the Quiko still safe for my Birds? Can Quiko contain the virus or bacteria and cause my Birds to get sick? They are my Babies. LOL Thank You Soooo Much
- Short answer, yes, it is possible, but the risk is extremely low to be non-existent. I don't know specifically about bird viruses, but cold viruses can't live on surfaces for long. I believe that avian viruses are spread by airborne transmission. I totally understand your concern. My flock are my feathered kids and I feed this product to all of them: budgies, finch, lovebird, and cockatoo.

what is correct storage for Quicko egg food supplement ?
- Millet, Thank you for your question. Quicko egg supplement should be stored at room temperature; however a large batch can be made up ahead of time and refrigerate for up to 1 week.

Meant to ask... Does the Quiko Egg Food always need to be served 'moistened' ?
- I've only done it with water. The bag does seem to suggest that you can sprinkle it on seeds & pellets or moisten with water or juice enough to make a moist crumble texture in a separate dish, 2 tsp. whether wet or dry.

Can the Quiko Egg Food be served dry?
- The bag does suggest one way is dry, about 2tbsp onto the daily diet

how long can moistened egg food be left in my parrotlets cage?
- Any time you have fresh foods or moistened foods you never want to leave it available for your bird more than four hours ( at the most) because bacteria will build up quickly. I usually leave my moist foods two hours.
