why does my cat lick the dry bathtub
What toys are the best for parakeets
Is budgies need everyday bath ?
Hi there! I was just wondering, what is a preening toy for birds?
Help budgie keeps regurgitating on mirror, but i dont wanna take it out, it could make her depressed. We got medicine from doctor to prevent parasites that he gave her. Im medicating her with the anibiotics the vet gave me. But she still pukes near the mirrors or next to it. Shes a single budgie all previous relationships with other budgies didnt go so well. She always tried to avoid them and is always busy with the bell she grew up with. So we left her single. And she seems very hormonal lately
Just gave my budgie a shower she's making noises an pulling head up an down as if choking ,
i have a budgeriar she sleeps a lot and drinks a lot of water she also has some kind-of feather cyst she started shaking when bathed and the seizure lasted for 20 min
My budgie has been wanting to be with his mirror more often now. When he sees a mirror, he goes straight to it and begins to talk with it. He doesn't really want to hang out with me or my other budgie Chips. Should I take away the mirror in his cage or should I keep it? Is it because of his hormones?
my bird is 18 (but lives up to their 30s) the other day he wouldn't open his eyes, until we put him in the sink with a little water, then he was completely fine; i just don't think it was dehidration. I'm kind of scared. what do you think it is?
hi i am adopting a pet bird and know all about the dangers of non-sick coating. I've heard that zinc is also toxic to birds. I try to always be safe i the sun and am usually coated head to toe in zinc oxide-based sunscreen. Is this a problem for my bird? thank you
My parakeet is stretching its neck with it's beak open repeatedly for no apparent reason. It's feces have a green discoloration and it also is spending lots of time at the bottom of it's cage
Bird looked fine Friday, by Monday the feathers were gone on left side of head & neck, skin is red, cracked, pitted & swollen. The bird is scratching at least 2x per minute, even when eating. I scrubbed caged & everything in it, & sprayed it & bird with mite/lice spray. Is there anything else I should do?
