I use Revolution on my cat monthly. The vet used to give me Revolution Blue...but this time I was given Revolution Purple. What is the difference between the two??

I have seen evidence of tapeworms around my cat’s rear. She was on Revolution Plus Orange but accidentally ran out. I called my vet and talked to an assistant who said I needed to get her back on the Revolution Plus. My question is since I’ve already seen the worms will the Revolution Plus kill what I’ve already seen or is it only preventative? Does she need a different medication to kill what’s already in her system & then start the Revolution back?

Like certain dewormers used with horses, can Revolution cause a parasite 'toxicity'' in cats? Have a stray/rescue with severe ear mites, so gave the 1st dose of Revolution. Since then, he has developed severe diarrhea for 3 days. He's eating and drinking. Prior to the Revolution, he vomited at least once a day. I'm wondering if this could be shedding a parasite burden, or the toxic result of the parasites being killed off, or perhaps even Coccidiosis? He is away from my other cats, but goes out.

My 2 cats have been on Revolution for years. Recently I've seen fleas on them and they scratch.Can I give a Capstar tablet to them along with their monthly Revolution? My one cat gets Phenobarbital for seizures. Would you suggest some other combination of flea prevention?
