For the prevention of heartworm disease, Revolution must be applied monthly, preferably on the same date each month. Drs. Foster and Smith recommends (and our guarantee requires) that Revolution be used year round, although some veterinarians may recommend using it only during the mosquito season. If used seasonally, the first dose must be applied within 30 days of the pet's first exposure to mosquitoes. The last dose must be applied within 30 days after the pet's last exposure to mosquitoes. To control fleas, apply the first dose one month prior to the expected start of the flea season. Part the hair on the back of the pet at the base of the neck in front of the shoulder blades. Place the tip of the tube on the skin and squeeze the tube 3-4 times to empty the entire contents on the skin. Do not massage into skin or apply to broken skin. Do not apply when the haircoat is wet.

I cannot find my dog’s regular flea/tick meds (topical Revolution 20.1-40.1lbs) b/c it’s on back order even with my vet. I’m panicking b/c idk what to give my dog that is equivalent to that flea/tick med. She hasn’t missed a single dose since she was 8 weeks old. I’m worried she won’t get the protection that she needs. Is there something similar to Revolution that I can give her that protects against mites, fleas, ticks, round, hook and heartworms???
I have a puppy that weighs 9.3-9.6 pounds, can I safely apply brown Revolution meant for 10-20 puppy on him, if I let say apply a little less that there is in a tube? will it be safe? Right now I have a problem getting the other Revolution from the vet I only have brown box. thank you for your reply.
Best flea and tick preventive for a large 90+ lb one year old male dog
if I use the Revolution ,do I need to give her Heartguard?
Can Revolution be used to prevent ticks on dogs? I live on Long Island, NY where ticks are quite prevalent, and I have my Shih Tzu on Revolution. Would that be enough for ticks as well, or should I also use a Seresto collar during the summer months. I would switch to Frontline but my dog was still able to get fleas while on that I’m the past. also, what effect does American dog ticks have on dogs exactly?
My cat gets frontline plus once a month consistently all year long. No fleas all year till this past friday. This weekend I have remover with flea comb a few live small fleas and flea dirt. His last frontline was sat 9/28/19. Is it safe and beneficial if I start him now ( 10/7/19) on REVOLUTION? We live in nj and he is about 22 pounds. He is an inside outside cat. Also, if results on revolution are the same, can he then be put back into frontline. I'm scared of these chemicals.
My vet wants me to book an appointment to get revolution. I can't afford the vet appointment and the revolution treatment. I found an 8 pack online from canadavet.com for $150.00 CAD. Is there anything particularly unsafe about me skipping the vet and buying revolution myself online?
My bun has had mange for a long while now. It is recurring. I found lesions on 4 nails only. I check her regularly and know what to look out for. It has been confirmed that it is mange. The vet gave her the kitten dose 60mg/ml at 0.250. I weighed her today and she is 2.77 kg. The vet isn't a rabbit savvy one so want to know what the right dose is and how frequently would I have to give her revolution. Her lesions have dried out nicely from the topical but need to adjust the Revo dose. Plz help
My dog is 188 pounds so what do I use to make up the difference since the weight only goes to 132 pounds for flea and tick treatment??
Is that heartworm shot that last 6 months safe and effective and what few and tick meds do you recommend?
Mia gets topical Revolution once a month. I’ve been looking into the seresto dog flea collar b/c I wanted something that REPELS fleas rather than waiting for them to bite in order to be effective against infestations. So my question is, can she have the topical on the same time as the collar or is that maybe double dosing? I’m honestly just looking into options since Revolution is hard to find in stock these days.
