You received a highly effective preventive medication which also covers mites besides the ones you mentioned. Realize that your kitties probably are stressed out with the two moves, one away from the person they loved (yes hoarder kitties are loved too, and love their owner) to the shelter and then from the shelter to you. Give them lots of TLC and they will get used to their new home soon.

I saw this tiny worm crawling out of my cat's butt. I was wondering what type of worm this is and if Revolution will treat this type of worm. I just brought Revolution to treat my cats for flea prevention. I'm hoping it will take care of these worms
Hello and thank you for contacting Boop by Petco. It looks like a roundworm. You should apply Revolution on Ninny as this product is effective against roundworms. However, if the worms come back, you should go for de-wormer in tablets, for example Drontal.

vet said to get flea preventive for our two cats... The dogs seem to have them and are being treated. Vet recommended Revolution or Advantage. The cats are 8 and 10 years old.
Hello, I agree with your veterinarian's recommendations. Advantage Multi for cats is a good product which covers against fleas, roundworms, ear mites, hook worms and heart worm so this may be a good product. Revolution does the same, although the advantage multi ingredient seems to be more effective against heart worms. Hope this helps and best of luck.

Love his name! That is awesome! I would recommend Revolution or Advantage Multi. I personally like Advantage Multi better. Any product containing a heartworm prevention is a prescription item so you need to get your vet to either dispense the product or write you a script. I hope this helps. Best of luck with your move!

I would not worry about severe reactions as selamectin (Revolution) is an avermectin and can be used after Sentry and Advantage multi without a problem. Avermectins are a different class of acaricide and therefore there will be no overdose when used with the others. Both your kitties should be ok and there should be no adverse reaction re the kittens either.
