FURminator Replacement Grinding Bands are for use with the FURminator Nail Grinder. Pets need their nails trimmed on a regular basis, usually every 3 to 4 weeks. Untrimmed nails can affect their comfort and health and cause them to develop sore feet, legs and hips and overall discomfort. Replace bands as needed to keep grooming confidence at home. Each replacement pack contains 6 replacement bands.

  • - REPLACEMENT GRINDING BANDS: Keep your FURminator Nail Grinder working properly with fresh replacement grinding bands
  • - 6 COUNT: This pack contains 6 replacement bands, 120 grit

Super Easy to Use

I have two of these. They work just fine. You must first get your dog accustomed to the humming sound long before using the Furminator nail grinder. This tool is much easier than using a clipper. When you use the grinder, start with one nail first, touch the nail LIGHTLY with the grinder, use it on low speed first. Every dog is different. It may take them awhile to get accustomed to the sound but the job it does is clean across the nail and fast. If you are new to a dremel tool, I suggest you research a video to show you how it is done. I use this on my English Bull Dog. I have a Ridgeback but, prefer to use the RESCO nail clipper on his dark, thick nails. This is one of the best dremels I have used. Touching the nail lightly with dremel is key and do one nail, stop, and then later, maybe do another....don't dremel all nails all at once if you are new to this tool.

On the packaging the grinder came in was written for video guidance on how to use this product go to this website. I'm here but I can't find anything that gives me video guidance, so I have not used the product yet. I want to receive video guidance on how to use it before I use it. In the section where you ask if I would recommend this product to a friend you only offer Yes and No...you need to offer I don't know yet.

My dogs are larger and therefore have thicker nails, it was really scared to clip them. I bought this in hopes that I could clip their nails safely. It works amazingly! Very well worth it and my dogs are not afraid of it!
