When it comes to the health and well-being of your pet chinchilla, gerbil, guinea pig or mouse or rabbit, you ensure that your fuzzy little friend is given the best care possible. As with many pets, proper housing is vital to your small animal pet companion's health. This is why there is an assortment of pet bedding and litter available to line their cages and habitats. Not only do your pet hamsters, rats, guinea pigs and rabbits need a type of soft pet litter to make them comfortable while inside of their homes, but they also need it for its absorbency to help keep their homes sanitary. Most types of bedding and litter, such as Carefresh Pet Bedding, are highly absorbent and help to simplify regular cage maintenance. By absorbing pet waste, food spills and other pet messes, pet bedding and litter also work toward controlling odors, which helps to make your pet's home more comfortable and inhabitable. As there are materials, such as pine and cedar, which have oils that are known to be harmful to many small animal pet companions, it is important to select a type of pet litter and bedding that is safe and non-toxic. Whether you opt for a popular type of small animal bedding and litter, such as Carefresh Pet Bedding, or a natural type of corn or paper-based litter, promote the comfort of your favorite furry friend today with the soft and absorbent type of pet litter.

I just adopted mittens from my local shelter on June 8. When I brought him home he was very scared. Now he has settled in our home. I found out that mittens doesn’t like scented litter and was refusing to use the litter box. So I bought him arm and hammer unscented litter. I put him in the litter box and he sniffed it and jumped out. What should I do now? He has been going potty in the shower, should I put the litter box in the shower?
Hello my cat is an inside and out cat, I live in Florida. I have two litter boxes for him it is a clumping brand so it's an easy clean up, he has no problem using them. the question is the box I have put outside is clumping with out my cat using it, and when it does start to clump he doesn't use the one out side.... but still uses the box with the same litter inside. Which litter should I use out side?
Is it safe to use "crystal" litter after paw surgery?

I just bought the new breeze litter system. One of my kittens is eating the litter? Should I be concerned? Should I remove the litter? Is there anything I can apply to the litter to discourage her eating it?
I have 2 kittens around 6 weeks that will not use their litter boxes. They, instead, wat the litter and potty other places. When onw of them sleeps in my bed, he always pees right where he is sitting when he wakes up. I have switched litters and shown them the boxes. I am unsure of what to do or why they are doing this. Can you suggest anything?
My pup that is 3 1/2 months old got into my friends litter box and was chewing on a freshener cube for the litter. Salivating a lot now.
Can having dwarfism cause a kitten to refuse to use a litter box, and walk while he poops? I'm 90 percent certain that my little Male foster has dwarfism and he is approaching adoption age so not using the litter box is increasingly concerning as I know that adopters dont wamt cats that arent litterbox trained. If this is caused by dwarfism is there anything I can do to make going I'm the box easiar for him?
Hi, I have a male cat who has recently had some urinary blockage and now he isn’t using his cat box. Can you give me any advice on what to do? I’ve tried a new type of litter and he doesn’t seem to have any interest in that.
I have three domestic short haired kittens that are about half grown, what kind of small animal would go along well with them, what is recommended I was hoping for sugargliders yet i dont know if that would work well with kittens
I have 2 ferral cats I took in. They have been doing excelent and I nabbed 2 more of the next litter and they are doing excellent. They have been inside 1 month. They are Karats. The oldest are males and the young ones female. The male got sick then 4 days later the other male did. Their symptoms are lethargy, lack of eating/drinking and now throwing up. The only new difference is scented litter instead of non. The vomit is watery. I treated ea for hair balls and feed them food for hairballs.
