Cover floor with loose product to a depth of 1 to 3 inches. At least once a week, remove all bedding and wash enclosure with a mild soap solution. Rinse cage thoroughly with a clean water to ensure the removal of soap residue. Frequency of cage cleaning depends on the size of your pet's home and number of animals. Always replace bedding with fresh product. Maintaining a clean cage will keep your pet from developing respiratory problems due to ammonia build up in the cage caused by urine. Used bedding should be discarded. Animal consumption of any bedding product should be avoided. If you believe your pet is experiencing health concerns related to this bedding, discontinue use, clean the cage and change bedding type. If the problem persists, contact your veterinarian. Warning: this product contains wood dust, a chemical known to the state of California to cause cancer.

What's do you think about the soft wood pellets used in fireplace' but used for cat litter. I am also considering of buying a litter box that has a sifter underneath. I have purchased some at Canadian tire and it is called Surefire wood pellets
My rabbit has started eating her wooden litter shavings+newspaper, is it worth switching to the wooden pellets?
Can Guinea pigs use grreat choice pine wood shavings? I see carefresh made a mixture of paper and wood shavings. I'm low on funds this week and I had bought and aired out (for 4 days) grreat choice pine wood for my hamsters. But as I said I'm low on funds and was wondering if just this week I could use the pine wood? I don't want to harm my piggies in anyway.
I have two baby rats, I was using Kaytee Natural Paper Bedding and wanted to switch them to a different bedding but couldn’t figure out which one would be a safer option to switch to. I did some reading and found that Pine was dangerous to rats because of the oils so I avoided it. Recently I spoke with a breeder who said Kiln dried pine is okay and isn’t dangerous to them because the oils are all dried up but people in a rat group on Facebook have expressed concern. Is it okay to use Pine?
Adopted 3mo kitten use to paper pellet litter. Always uses litter box. I'm trying to find non dusty, I live in single wide trailer, clumping and unscented. What do you suggest I try?
I have guinea pig and I was wondering what kind of bedding is ok for them. The enclosure is large so I’m not sure if I wanna use that much paper bedding
What is the best bedding to use for a chinchilla? I have heard bad things about kiln dried pine/aspen, about Carefresh and other expanding beddings, paper pieces, fleece, etc. I'm just trying to prepare for my best for my new chinchilla.
I decided to litter train my dog. My mother got some dog litter. It's from "SoPhresh". I'm worried about my dog eating the pellets. Is there anything toxic in it?
Which is better to use as hamster bedding? Paper? Pine? Or cedar? Currently I’m using paper.
Do you have any suggestions for litter box or harness training. Also, can I use pine shavings for their bedding as it is not a red wood?
I switched my cat's litter box from clay to wood pellets. I transitioned very slowly and it worked because he was using it just fine with the new litter. Lately, he started using the bathroom on the floor. I'm guessing he realized he just doesn't like the new litter anymore? Well idk what to do because this is the second time he peed outside the litter box but it doesn't make sense to me because he was using it for 2 weeks before just fine. Should I start cleaning it everyday? Any options? HELP!
I have 2 older kitties. One is 18, has had 2 strokes over the summer and he is blind. He has issues with his balance now and with getting in and out of the litter box, therefore when he gets in the litter box he tends to pee right there, then immediately turns around and gets his paws in it and it clumps in his paws. I constantly scoop after both cats because of this, but it is an issue for him when no one is here to clean it off right away, and it hardens in his paws, what pellet can we use?
