I bought these for my 10lb chihuahua at the end of his life because he didn't have enough strength to hold himself up on smooth surfaces like tile or laminate. He was a little wobbly at first, and eventually we settled on mostly just putting them on his back two feet which was plenty of help for him! He had no problem wearing them though. We called him "bootie boy" because they were so bright and obvious. He passed in 2022, but to this day my phone screensaver is him in his little boots. I have a shrine to him on my fireplace that includes his little booties. I also took his booties to the hardware store to get it color matched so I could paint some cabinets 'bootie boy yellow'. So anyways, these booties have a lot of emotional meaning for me. They were also affordable and durable, and when I inevitable lost one (which happened when I was travelling once) I could just go to the closest petco and buy more, which was fantastic!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Not a great boot

it doesn't stay on very well. We originally got them because our dog had a small cut on her foot and we wanted her to not lick it without having to do a cone. It works fine if she is laying in her dog bed but doesn't stay on very well if she is moving around on it. Ended up with a $5 set from a big online retailer which worked way better.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Garbage right out of the box

Thin thread and incomplete stitching made these unusable right out of the package. Left us without foot protection for our dog during a winter camping trip so we couldn’t take him hiking as planned because I didn’t open the box before packing them…after all, why should I expect an unopened package to contain faulty product? Shameful for such a shoddy product to be produced. I will avoid this store brand in the future as I assume this is indicative of what they feel is acceptable. Still need dog boots, I’ll have to find a different retailer to get something that isn’t defective it would seem.

Defective product

I bought these boots for my dog during the cold and I thought they’d work perfectly. I was disappointed to find out one of the boots was defective. I opened the box to find that one boots strap had fallen off. I paid full price expecting to get a new product, but instead I got 3 great boots and one that my dog can’t use very well because the strap falls off, causing his foot to slip out of it. I’d love the boots if I could use all four of them. Overall, I was just disappointed I didn’t know the product was defective and I paid full price for a defective product.

Questions

If my dog is between sizes, should I size up or down?

  1. Size down

Why is there not a digital size guide offered? How am I supposed to buy online without any indication what the sizes mean? I see there is an image of the back of the box, but good luck actually reading that.

  1. Just look at the image of the box. It tells you the length and width of whatever size you select in the drop-down. Just measure your dogs feet and pick the appropriate size. For example, the Large size box says 3" length and 2.88" width. Not sure why you cannot read that as it is quite clear on my computer.

Will these protect paw pads against the heat, such as, the hot sand at a beach?

  1. They’re silicon so yeah they should.

Please send me a size chart for these Youly silicone dog booties. Thank you.

Is there a sizing guide for these?

    1. Yes. On the package you can find the sizing guide. Unfortunately, that would require you to go into the store and place your pets paw on the sizing chart; however, each package contains the same sizing chart so even if they don't have the correct size in store you would know which size to order.
