The Pro Ion comes with a 2 year limited warranty. This warranty is valid only for sales in the United States. If your Wahl product fails to operate satisfactorily within its limited warranty time frame from the date of original purchase or receipt as a gift, Wahl will at our option repair or replace it and return it to you FREE OF CHARGE. Our warranty does not cover blades, which are wear out parts.
Before you start clipping, you will want to bathe and brush your pet's coat. Clipping a dirty, tangled coat is not only uncomfortable for your pet, but it will also dull your blades quicker. If your pet is new to grooming, we also recommend introducing them to your clipper before you start grooming. Turn your clipper on and let your pet check them out. This allows your pet to get used to the sound and vibrations before you begin using them.

What type of clippers should I get for a matted lasa pooh

Would these work well on a cat?
- You would have to look at the label to see what pet it is indicated for. If it states dogs then no. If it states all pets then yes but use care so no nicking happens.

I have a standard poodle. I am not understanding when to put one of the colored guards on verses just using the clipper to cut. Also if I am putting a colored guard on what should the lever of the clipper be set at?
- I found this clipper to be unusable on my himalayan cat. I also could not figure out the difference between the color guards. No matter which one I used (even the standard clipper without the guards), the clipper didn't cut well. Better off just taking the cat to Petco for an $80 grooming 2x a year than deal with this clipper!

With the longest guard on how long does it leave the hair?
- The guards range in size from 1/8" to 7/8". The longest guard is 7/8" or 22 mm.

Can I use it for toy poodle?
- Yes. I use it on my Westie and Cairn Terriers. My sister also uses one to trim her Corgi

Can you stop them from being so loud?
- No. It also has a dull blade that does not cut dog or cat hair. Don't waste your money.

I know that the level is adjustable with the lever, but which position is what level? And which level cuts shortest? 30?15?or 10?
- If you push the handle down the cutting blade is pulled back making hair cut longer. Pulled up it is shorter if you look closely at the blade when it is turned off you can see the difference. Note: it is easy to accidentally move it while using the clipper so check it often, I do that when I turn it off or move to a different area of the dog. If you want longer use the plastic clip on attachments.
