I purchased this online, but the product that arrived is not the same as pictured here. I used it though because I needed one. The rings are supposed to be round, but they are triangular instead. Because of this, the chain gets stuck. It's also a very long chain. I don't recommend.

Nylon band was not a good solution for a dog that pulls a lot. Went back to the metal prong...works much better.

It didn't fit right. Kept slipping off my dogs neck. Returned it.

bought this to make training my puppy how to walk along with me. It made training so much easier and hopefully more comfortable for her then a choker chain.

This collar material is too stiff and not effective.

First of all, I should have examined the product more closely before purchasing. Although it was less expensive than similar training collars, I would not have expected anyone to be selling such a device without a quick-release clip. Check collars will not function properly if they are not positioned correctly on the dog- just below the ears at the top of the neck. In order for this product perform as intended it must first be opened wide enough to slip over the head. Then it must be adjusted to keep it from slipping down the neck to the shoulders and out of position, which is difficult to do while the collar is on the animal. Also, the process needs to be reversed before you can remove the device without causing trauma to the dog's head or ears. Basically, if you don't re-size the collar twice every time you want to use the device, you will (and your dog) will see little to no benefit in training with it. I'm surprised something with such a high potential for mis-use is even on the market. Two stars for the mia culpa in buying it it the first place...
