I have a 6 year old cat named Pumpkin who is really poor behaved. She constantly wakes me and my boyfriend at night for no valid reason. Hi, Dr. Elizabeth! The lesion you saw on Leo's neck from my earlier answer is the one he can easily get to and scratch. I clean it and put Neosporin on it everyday and because he's able to scratch it it won't heal properly and stays inflamed. He has another one under his chin on his right side that seems to be healing because he can't really scratch it as well as the other one. I clean both twice a day and apply Neosporin. How can I keep him from scratching it?
Is anxiety/attention scratchingna thing? Cause when my dog is being told commands sometimes he will scratch instead. He has been tested and looked at by his Vet for ANY skin issues.
