since peaches laid all those eggs what calcium supplement should i give her i am giving her crushed oyster shells, should i give her more calcium?
Can i give peaches crushed oyster shells and, cuttlefish bone power, since she is laying infertile eggs? Is it safe to mix crushed oyster shells and cuttlefish bone power to give to her? Will this kill her, since i do not want to fill her up full of calcium, but calcium is needed since she is laying infertile eggs. Is cuttlefish bone safe to give to peaches?
I have a pet lovebird named peaches, i am feeding her dehydrated fruits and vegetables and tropican lifetime granules for cockitels, it is also for lovebirds, it has 8% of calcium, i am not giving her a lot of calcium because it can kill her, no fortified seeds, cuttle fish bone and clay cal, i do not feed her calcium every day, i just give it to her before and after she lays and egg, what is the right amount of calcium for pet love birds?
My cockatiel has been eating Leferber’s Premium Daily Diet pellets as a staple diet. She’s also been eating broccoli everyday. I also give her a bit of crushed eggshells once or twice a week. Hi, I've been giving my dog a homemade diet since he was diagnosed with kidney disease and supplemented it with a little eggshell powder which acted as his calcium. The vet has now given a phosphate binder called ipakitine and in the ingredients it says it contains calcium carbonate. Do I stop giving the eggshell powder now as this ipakitine contains calcium?
