Is there any natural herb/supplement that can help a bird who is experiencing puffed up feathers and bloody droppings?
Eats core wellness grain free ocean formula because of unknown allergy (licks her paws all the time). Finished a 26 lbs bag already but zero difference. Also taking vetriscience derma strength for few months now. Prefer supplements (chews) that med (Benadryl). There's lawsuit (July 2017) against wellness food (arsenic & lead), should I switch to other brand?if so, which one please? Thanks.
My dog swallowed one of my turmeric capsules 1,000 mg Turmeric 10 mg black pepper extract
Our 10 month old lab, staffordshire mix scratches and chews on herself. The vet recommended switching her food to Pro Plan Sensitive which we are doing right now by blending her food. I am wondering if there is any other supplement or vitamin that we should try.
My dog has severe scratching right now and our vet advised it could be flea allergies. I also have a suspicion of food allergies so I will be transitioning him to wheat/corn/soy free dog food the next couple of weeks. I want to make treats that have plain yogurt (alive bacteria), diatomaceous earth, coconut oil, local honey, and maybe apple cider vinegar and fish oil. I saw all those help with allergies and perasites, which he has issues with. Could this combo be dangerous or not help him?
Hi. My puppy go ahold of a artificial sugar packet (whole earth). She didn't have it for long and most of the chemical was still in there but she punctured the packet and definitely ate a small amount. The ingredients are erythritol, fructose, chicory root, stevia leaf, and monk fruit.
I have a 3yo Malinois that constantly scratches, chews his feet and shakes his head. We have literally tried everything with the vet guidance. He is on Apoquel now. Blood test just came back positive for dust/storage mites, cats, feathers and flax. My question is: in my search for a dog food without flaxseed, I notice the brands have treats, can or other formulas with flax in them: couldn’t this potentially contaminate the bags that are “flax free”? Please help! -Itchy in Delaware :)
Hello my male springer spaniel is 10 weeks old and chewed a seed packet for four o’clock flowers. I’m not sure if he swallowed any but if he did what can I watch for and is there something I should be doing for him?
Hello, is it ok to give my dog fresh (flat leaf) parsley to freshen her breath daily? If so, how much per day? Thank you!!
My cockatiel has been eating Leferber’s Premium Daily Diet pellets as a staple diet. She’s also been eating broccoli everyday. I also give her a bit of crushed eggshells once or twice a week. She has a cuttlebone available at all times. I’m wondering if this would be an okay product to give her? She isn’t much of a veggie eater. Will this be beneficial or unnecessary for her? I’m including the details of the product in attached photos. I do feed her some seeds as a treat sometimes. Thank you.
I have some questions about this (For rabbits)Oxbow Natural Science Multi-Vitamin Small Animal Supplements 1. Are these for every day? Or just a treat ever so often? 2. What does this help with? 3. Does this even help with much or should I not get these? And I also have questions about the other ones too. The Oxbow Natural Science Skin & Coat Small Animal Supplement. 1. Are these for ever day or just a treat? 2. Would this help with prevent fleas, ticks, sore hocks, and dry skin? Thank you;)
Yeah or nay on digestive enzyme supplement for cats? Been adding it to my 4 cats (age 1, 6, 8, n 9) moist and sometime dry food, a powder mix from Mercola cause i have been told that it will help but also have read articles that it wont. All of my cats are healthy but 1 had vomited on many meals right after before i added it to her food. Also thoughts on probiotics. Thank you
