If you're having a hard time finding a dock that is the right size, consider making your own! Very simple designs can be made from PVC pipe and other materials. I have attached a link to a forum that shows several DIY options for building a turtle dock. These are often cheaper than store bought items. http://www.turtleforum.com/forum/upload/index.php?/forums/topic/153638-safe-materials/

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! I think it depends on the breed. Most are docked before a week of age. I would contact your local breed association for details. Tail docking is becoming very controversial. I wish you the best!

Don't worry, she'll bask when she needs to bask. As long as she is able to get on the platform, it is fine. You can dry dock her by taking her out of the tank and placing her in a separate container. After an hour or two, return her to the tank. The cover and the mesh top are fine.

You can gently cleanse the area with Betadine diluted 50:50 with warm water; however, they ultimately need to be treated with oral antibiotics and unfortunately that requires a prescription from your vet. The infected tissue may also need to be debrided in order for it to heal properly, but the vet has to evaluate this in person. Here are some financial resources that may be able to help. Hi there! Thanks for using Boop by Petco! It is hard to evaluate thoroughly just from pictures though if you are referring to that little deviation of tissue in the bottom of the ear, that is perfectly normal. It is called the cutaneous marginal pouch. Have a good day!
