I have an older yellow lab that gets bored really easily. He gets bored with kongs and is an extreme chewer so rawhides or other chewies disappear SUPER fast! He is very intelligent and I was thinking of getting him a puzzle toy that involves treats as he is EXTREMELY food motivated! Since he's so smart should I still start him on the most basic puzzle or try something harder? I don't want to waste money on toys he'll go through really fast. And are there any other sorts of toys you can suggest?

My dog has pretty bad food allergies. She’s been on Royal Canin rabbit and potato and their hydrolyzed treats for a while now and it has stopped her from scratching her ears open. Hi I just purchased a 2 year old dachshund a week ago. I was told by the breeder he liked crinkle toys, but he has shown no interest in toys, raw hides, or chews.
