Thank you for submitting your question regarding Zippy. I recommend that he sees his veterinarian. He may be experiencing pain from arthritis or could have developed a disease that is contributing to his behavior changes. If there is something that can be diagnosed, then there may be treatment options to help keep him more comfortable. After his examination, laboratory work may be recommended. I hope this information helps!

Thanks for reaching out about Zippy. If he is bloated, care needs to be taken on syringe feeding as to not force it. Treats and vegetable should be withheld, especially if fairly sugary (carrots, yams). Try offering water, as this could possibly soften minor blockages but if his condition worsens today or is not improved overnight, a veterinary visit is needed to assess and provide a diagnostic/treatment plan. Dental disease, metabolic disorders (liver, kidney), intestinal infections, parasites or blockages are all possible. Good luck.

Yes! It definitely sounds like he needs some omega 3 fatty acids. These treats look like a good source. I also like vetriscience omega 3 fatty acid product. I’ll attach the link below. I hope this helps! https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/vetri-science-laboratories-omega-3-6-9-dog-and-cat-gel-caps

Hello. Zipyran will take care of tapeworms, in addition to hooks, rounds & whipworms. If Jorge was just administered the zipyran, I would re-administer this before travel back to the UK, or you can use something just for the tapeworms if this is your only concern. Either way will be safe. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

My personal (and totally independent of Boop by Petco or Petco) recommendation would be the FitBark2. It is small, durable and links to my FitBit. It is at the top of the list here too: https://www.caninejournal.com/dog-activity-monitor/
