I’ve been using this zilla light fixture for my turtle tank since January. Lately it seems to be getting very hot. When I go to turn it off it feels hotter than usual. Is this normal?

- Hi! We would recommend a Desert Mini Compact fluorescent bulb and either a 25w or 50w Blue Day mini halogen bulb.

- Hi there! Only if it is not too close to where the chameleon would bask. You don’t want the chameleon to get too close to it. No closer than 6 or 7 inches from the top of the chameleon.

I have a 20 gallon tank for my bearded dragon and I just need to know how many watts of UVB do I need
Hi there. So I am looking into getting a heat dome for my crested gecko. I know they don’t have to have a heat lam but I want him to have a UVB bulb Because it’s good for them. But I am not quite sure that type to get. Any suggestions? I was looking at petco’s tropical combo pack. He lives in a 10 g. With live plant. (I will upgrade when he is bigger) also do you know an age on him? I got him 3 months ago from petsmart. I could tell he was a male a week after I got him. (Pic from yesterday)
What is the best way to heat hedgehog cage with lamp?
My red eared slider is not basking even though I brought a uvb light for her just like one of the pet coach vets told me because he has soft shell.I place the light on top of a Zilla screen cover but she still don't get on.I can't really dry dock her because I have a hood for my uvb light.How can I make her to bask and is the Zilla cover okay for her?

I have a hood for my UVB light so how can I dry dock my red eared slider?Should I put her in a separate container just without the UVB?I can't put the UVB right on top of her with only 3 inches apart because that's too close.What should I do if she continues to not to bask?Sorry for keep sending questions but I'm just want to give Cooper a better life than before. Hes hanging out closer to the bottom and hes also lays down with all his legs out but 1. I'm thinking MBD but hes in a screen enclosure, 2 uvb 5.0 bulbs. 1 heat. Crickets always get dusted. He gets plenty of water, and horned worms, plus super worms. Idk what do to I dont want to lose him. I use a multi vitamin aswell.
My bearded dragons heat lamp just burnt out - I don’t have a replacement and all of the local reptile/pet stores are closed for the night. What do I do to keep him safe until tomorrow when I can get him a new light?
