We adore our rescue dog and I love to take him on walks but although he’s great with people, he’s very unpredictable with other dogs and he’s extremely prey driven. So much that my 13 year old can’t cntril him if he sees a cat or bunny or something. What do you recommend as far as a harness or collar that will help control his pulling and lunging so that we can enjoy our walks with him more? He’s about 60 lbs, by the way.
My 5 months border collie is a lettle bet dominant.. he has a femal partner at the sam age.. he jumps and bites my foot and clothes. If my hands get in his mouth he is very careful and don’t bite hard at all.. I’ve tried to wear hem a collar to start leash training he doesn’t like it at first and then when I tried again he was going to bite me hard!! But he became very calm and listen to me.. how to control hem ?
I put a Sergeant dual action collar on My chihuahua yesterday. Today her neck was red and was wining. I took the collar off and washed the dog very well. Could she have a allergic reaction to the collar or the chemical it is made out of. Is there anything else we can do?

Collar training My 14 week papillon is tiny just over 2lbs. The smallest harness does not fit. I began collar and leash during potty pad time, then keeping on and off for periods yesterday. Of course she bites and plays with the leash, causing it to be more of a potty training distraction than tool. The collar, right sized no dangles made of nylon, seems to irritate her skin. I have a 2 year old pure bred German Sheperd.
