My dogs skin has been dry and looks like dandruff when I brush him. Has pulled hair out on his back
What is the best solution for my puppy's coat? She's a black lab and german shepherd mix and her hair is kind of wiry and gets quite... oily? I guess... and she itches often. I've read that you shouldn't bathe dogs too much but baths seem to be the only thing that calms the itching.
I have a long haired elderly maincoon/tabby mix with mats all over his body because he is too overweight to reach them and honestly doesnt even try. Is there some product we can use to help him out? Shedding brushes are useless at this point and we've nearly resorted to a professional groomer.
I was combing my dog and I pulled all the hair off the brush like a big chunck of his fur and then he ate it. Is this bad?! I know it can get lodged in his stomach but I felt like this was too much.
My dog has dandruff. It doesn't seem extreme and it's possible I'm only noticing it because he has short black fur, but what's a good treatment to use to help his skin without drying it out?
can i bath my black cat with white shampoo? Its said for (not 'only for') white cat hair.
Is it okay to shave, with an electric shaver, a small part of my dog's fur of off his lower back (by the tail)? He has a lot of fleas in that area and it is very difficult to remove them from his thick, black fur. I want him to be relieved of any pain ASAP and shaving (followed by cleaning) seems to be the most efficient and effective method. He is half Lab, so his coat is like a Labrador's.
My dog has been scratching and biting at his skin. At first I thought it was fleas however I treated him a few days ago for it. Now when brushing him down he winces slightly when the brush (the soft side) touches underneath between his front left and back left legs. I can't see anything on his skin there although there is small black dots further over his body. I checked to see if these were fleas but can't see any movement.
My dog got groomed yesterday. His hair is short anyway. Anyway, this appeared this morning. Any ideas?
My cat had bad mats groomer shaved hm 2 days ago since then he is excessivly licking, he is a 14 yr old Siberian. What can I use to sooth the skin.
I found a little dog (maybe pomeranian?) about a week ago and he has pretty matted fur and TERRIBLE fleas. What can I do for him without paying a big vet bill?
mini dachshund with black fur, last 3-4 weeks started noticing some light bare spots on her back where he may have been biting?and some of the surrounding fur has a grayish tint to it closest picture I found was a black dog with Seborrhea. I haven't noticed bad fleas in house like we usually do on a bad year but have heard other home owners complaining of flea problems?
