Blade clogs and falls out of handheld motor unit.

Easily falls off of main unit and breaks, that why I had to order another. Also, blades clog up easily and dog hair has to be cleaned out after each stroke of shearing.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Wahl cordless clippers

I have been an owner of my own pet grooming salon and head groomer for 32 years. I have used just about all clippers out there. About 5 years ago I purchased the Wahl cordless clippers with the adjustable clipper blade. My primary need was a lightweight clipper for clipping feet, face and potty areas. This clipper out preformed anything I had expected of it. I find that now I use it for about 80% of my clipping. I don't know how they have done it, but the blade NEVER gets hot no matter how long you use it. The clip-on combs give me the added length I need for the coat and gives a very velvety finish. I just LOVE this clipper and blade. I highly recommend it.

Yes, I recommend this product.

What is the difference between the coarse and fine blades?

  1. Fine blades are typically the standard blades used across pet grooming. Coarse blades, however, are skip tooth blades, which means they have fewer teeth across the blade set. Because they have fewer teeth, coarse blades are designed to cut better through thick or coarse coats that would usually tend to bog down a regular fine blade.
