I have only used this a couple times for my dog with allergies. I use a shampoo of a different brand specifically for allergies. When I used this conditioner he smelled good and his coat was soft but during and after the bath his shedding was significantly increased in comparison to not using the conditioner. It may be good to use occasionally during winter months, but for now I just stick to shampoo.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I have a Maltese whose hair tangles easily. Since using this, he has less tangles and the ones he does get comb out easily.
