Help! The submersible pump on my 3.7 gallon is making loud motor sounds and spitting out small bubbles that by morning cover the whole top of the tank. I’m scared for my fishes life what should I do?
If I have a 1-gallon tank for 1 betta fish how long do I keep my filter on? My filter is GPH is adjustable.
My gold fish is floating around like a ballon, not moving it’s fins and floating upside down and staying next to air pump.
How often should I put Tetra dechlorinator into my 2.2 gallon fish tank with three guppies in it? I know the amount, I just need the best time in between please. Thank you!
hi I bought the imagitarium fresh water uv purified water for my betta,s. Is this good water for them and does it have the nutrients they need? thank you
So I've been thinking about getting an axolotl, but I'm a bit confused as I've never had any type of aquarium. My question is: I've been told to get an Aquaclear 50 HBO filter (plus a sponge one for extra bio media), and to slow the flow by placing plants and things under it. But this specific model's slowest flow is 250 l/h, which might be too little for a 90l tank. But if I set it up to 370 or so (which I find would be the best), the flow might be too strong for the axie! Any solutions? <3
I have my 1-year-old goldfish in a 5-gallon tank. I do frequent water changes and he has a filer and an air bubble thing. I plan on taking him to my grandfather's outdoor koi/goldfish pond when he outgrows his tank. His fish are really big.Is it safe for me to transfer him to this?Even if he doesn't outgrow it soon in a year and a half I will be moving and he will have to go there anyway. Is there any tips to help him transfer easily? My room is quite warm. Should I do it when weather is warm?
Please help!! I have a 5 gallon fish tank starter kit. Water conditioner. Thermometer. And it has a filter. I have bought 3 gold fish all from Walmart. And the third is dying currently :( they swim by the filter and float then have a hard time breathing it looks like and then die. My autistic 5 yr old is devistaed and I don't know what I could be doing wrong. I did research and research and more research!! Help:(

My pond goldfish had swim bladder issues so has been inside for 6 weeks. He was pretty active and I brought in another to keep him company. Since Feb 1st, he is at the bottom, eating a bit especially when I drop it right in from of him. No external signs of any disease that I can seen. Nitrites are high as tank is cycling. I am adding Prime, aquarium salt (1 gram) and 30% water changes. Nitrite converting bacteria is establishing now. Any thought on what it could be and what to do? Thank you
when i was little my grandfather had a koi "patio pond" in a metal stock trough. I was wondering if it would be reasonable to do the same in a rubber one?what considerations would you consider?
Why does my water turn green after 2-3 weeks? No live plants and 1 artificial log in the tank!
