what temperature does this heater keep the water
- It does not heat the water. It's sole purpose is to keep a hole in the ice. When temps drop below 32 degrees Fahrenheit, ponds can freeze over, and the fish living in them are deprived of oxygen as CO2 levels rise. Keeping a hole in the ice, allows oxygen in and CO2 out.

Trying to figure out why my female betta died this morning. I had a male in the tank with her (with a divider). She was acting fine and eating. I did do a water change but I only but in “bottled betta water”. I also added a heater but I unplugged it when it got to 82 degrees. The male is fine. I have a wolf fish that seems to be sick. He is upside down in the tank now for 24 hrs. He is still breathing but seems to bee struggling. My year old has contracted either Ich or velvet. He is trying to scratch against his tank he has white patches but also when I've shined a light on him It also looks like he could have velvet. hello i am about 5 to6 months into the hobby my oscar fish have brought ich into my 75 gallon tank i am treating it with meds and salt and turned my temp to 83 will the meds kill the ich when they fall from my fish into the water ? started the treatment on friday the meds say do for 7 days then a 25 percent wc is their anyway to be sure they are all dead and gone ? thanks

Ice is sitting at the bottom of the tank on his side. I thought maybe he had swim bladders disease. We have gone 2 days now without feeding him and i tried one pea without skin. I think he may be dying just want to be sure i am doing everything possible for him. We changed his water 2 days ago and he has a filter. He doesnt seem to have any energy to swim at all.
