I got a lED fish light for my fish tank and I only got one light for one side so far and where the light is its growing a brown algae really bad and the other side without the light isn't. I have my 1-year-old goldfish in a 5-gallon tank. I do frequent water changes and he has a filer and an air bubble thing. I plan on taking him to my grandfather's outdoor koi/goldfish pond when he outgrows his tank. His fish are really big.Is it safe for me to transfer him to this?Even if he doesn't outgrow it soon in a year and a half I will be moving and he will have to go there anyway. Is there any tips to help him transfer easily? My room is quite warm. Should I do it when weather is warm?
Is this a good setup for Nighthawk, the first photo is the over all setup, the second one is the side view and the third is the water and calcium dishes. I use an under tank heater that stays at about 88 degrees Fahrenheit and the vines are fake. He has a warm hide and a cold hide with moss in it that’s i spray down every other day. The little box is another little hide that I can see him in. And the background is tile it paper rolls that were painted(they were left to dry for two weeks)
