Wet hair/coat with warm water. Apply enough shampoo to create a soapy lather. Increase amount of shampoo used as needed. Massage into hair/coat and allow shampoo to sit for 5-10 minutes. Finse with clean water and repeat for optimal results.

Riley has what seems like very dry skin lately, she itches and chews at her side/legs/ears a lot. We have tried giving her fish oil and coconut oil, as well as Benadryl, to help with the itching and re growing hair she chews out. are there any product recommendations to help with her itching, or growing fur back?
My dog has red patches of flaky skin that itch on her right side I have been giving her 25 mg of benedryl for the itching every 8 hours just started that yesterday she has had it for over a week I bought 2 diff shampoos can you tell me which one I should use there will be a pic of her skin an a pic of each shampoo I bought I don’t know which one to use to help her skin please let me know which to use an what else I could do to help her I don’t have money for a vet an I am try to help her thanks
What could cause severe itching and scratching on my dog? When I finally looked closer his chest was covered in rash under his arms and between his toes with blood raw from licking. Pet Smart told me it could be a food allergy and gave me a certain brand of food and a shampoo with oatmeal and tea tree oil and it still has not stopped the itching. What could be causing this and how can I relieve the itching until it heals?
Watering eyes. Itching, hair has come out. Top of tail and down some. Thought mites. Put olive oil -had relief. Dogfood is Tasty Nuggets. Was having rawhide- and purina beggins. Pet Pantry said flea allergin maybe. Owner car wreck gone 7th month- gave. Stopped rawhide & was going to get new dogfood. Have insurance - but not outright . Used borax and peroxide rinse - said for relief mites or itch & gave relief- said once week.
My dog had flaky skin, she has ever since the first day we got her last year. I have used oatmeal shampoos to no avail. I started her on American Journey Salmon Oil a few daya ago. Is there anything else I can do to make the flakiness stop?
My dog has dandruff and itchy skin
My dog is a Rottweiler/German Shepherd mix. He started itching pretty chrinically about 2 or 3 months ago. He's shaking his head, has hot spots all over, flaky scabs, oily fur, a musky odor, scracthing and/or licking constantly, and when I give him a bath I get a handful of swollen red welts on my legs. Only my legs. Not my hands, forearms, or feet even though all are in contact with him. My two cats and my potbelly pig seem unaffected. I'm at my wit's end and we are both miserable. Help!
My dog has red crusty like sores all over his skin. He is also losing more hair than a normal shed. Dandruff like flakes and scratches a lot. I tried antiseptic/bacterial/fungal shampoo, and did not help. His skin seemed drier and more itchy. He has inflamed spots under his chin where his whiskers are. Is this mange? Or allergies? I’ve tried putting coconut oil on him, didn’t seem to work and corona cream (just to ease the itching. It helped)

I have a 3 year old shih tzu with dermatitis. He only has bad itching and hot spots during the spring/summer. This year it is worse than others. I use an oatmeal shampoo & keep his hair short. I have tried otc hot spot sprays, but his itching does not seem to be getting any better
Is there any over the counter shampoos you recommend to help soothe my pup that has demodectic mange? She was switched from trifexis to simparica and interceptor plus for treatment but I want a shampoo that will help soothe it during regular baths I give her.
