My bloodhound grew big and strong!

Boones Mama

I fed 1/2 Raw Boost large breed puppy and 1/2 raw to my bloodhound puppy when I got him at 10 weeks old. He is in perfect health and has a shiny coat. He is lean and beautiful. We get compliments often and especially about how soft he is!

Great For Growning Large Breed Puppies

Precious31

I just got a 2 month old German Shepherd puppy 3 weeks ago and didn’t know what kind of puppy food to go for since the breeders didnt give me info on what he was feed while they had him. I’ve tried two brands of dog food (of course using the 5-7 day transition method) to see what works for him. The old brands used to cause stomach issues like diarrhea and loose stools, but soon after I switched and found out about Instinct, it was a game changer! Soon after transitioning, I’ve noticed that he had firm stools and didnt have a problem handling his business. His coat started to become lustrous and very soft. I also noticed that he has lots of energy to play and do outdoor activities. Since his last vet visit he was 11 Ibs and is now 15 Ibs. Overall, good for puppies that are known to grow very fast and have gut issues. I highly recommend!

I love the freeze dried aspect of the food. I used to buy additional chicken/beef toppers, it’s already in here. Just add the salmon toppers and it’s great! Just don’t forget the instinct wet grain free puppy food as well.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I’ve been looking for the best food brand for my 10 month old puppy Siberian Husky and he loves this one! I’ve also seen a huge improvement in his digestive health. He has a very sensitive stomach, but this one sits well with him.

Chicken meal??? Please explain Why they put this filler and junk inside this food thank you very much

  1. Meal is a dried and more concentrated form of the mammal, poultry, or fish protein. (Basically, the meat with the moisture removed.) If you feed a high-quality kibble like Instinct with say “chicken meal” as the first ingredient, you know your pet is getting all of the benefits of this highly digestible protein. It is important to make sure the meal is protein specific (ex. beef meal or lamb meal), and not generic like meat meal or by-product meal, which by definition can contain any species or part of the animal. This can sometimes be confused with by-products, which can include feathers, beaks, feet, and other body parts. Instinct does not use any by-products in our foods.

would this be a suitable food for my Golden Retriever puppy? She's a larger breed and also how long should I keep her on this until I transition to adult food?

  1. Hi There! If your vet believes your puppy will weigh over 70lbs as an adult, the Large Breed Puppy recipe would be the only formula we have that would be suitable. Some large breed puppies aren't considered an adult till about 18-24 months, so we would recommend checking with your vet to better understand at what age your puppy would be considered an adult. Thanks!

At what age should a dog transition from puppy to adult food?

  1. Hi there- For large breed puppies we recommend transitioning them onto adult food at about 18 months to 2 years depending on the breed and size.

Can I feed it to my older dogs?

  1. Hi There! We wouldn't recommend feeding this recipe to an older adult dog. We have many All Life Stage recipes to choose from and even a Senior recipes for dogs over 7years of age. You can learn more at our website: https://www.instinctpetfood.com/

At what age range should a dog transition from “Puppy Food” to “Adult Food” (Large Breed)? 11-13 months; 12-14 months . . . ?   My Golden Retriever pup is 11 months old now at 58 lbs.

Is this food supposed to bring little pieces of freeze dry raw food? Because the 20lbs bag we bought doesn't bring any just the kibbles and when we bought the smaller bag it did bring the small white pieces which my pup loved

    1. Hello! Yes, the Raw Boost should have our Raw Boost Mixers in them. If you ever come across a bag that doesn't have the freeze-dried raw in it, please reach out to us directly at cservice@instinctpetfood.com so we can learn more about the situation.

    Cups Per Day?
