Questions
Chicken meal??? Please explain Why they put this filler and junk inside this food thank you very much
- Meal is a dried and more concentrated form of the mammal, poultry, or fish protein. (Basically, the meat with the moisture removed.) If you feed a high-quality kibble like Instinct with say āchicken mealā as the first ingredient, you know your pet is getting all of the benefits of this highly digestible protein. It is important to make sure the meal is protein specific (ex. beef meal or lamb meal), and not generic like meat meal or by-product meal, which by definition can contain any species or part of the animal. This can sometimes be confused with by-products, which can include feathers, beaks, feet, and other body parts. Instinct does not use any by-products in our foods.

would this be a suitable food for my Golden Retriever puppy? She's a larger breed and also how long should I keep her on this until I transition to adult food?
- Hi There! If your vet believes your puppy will weigh over 70lbs as an adult, the Large Breed Puppy recipe would be the only formula we have that would be suitable. Some large breed puppies aren't considered an adult till about 18-24 months, so we would recommend checking with your vet to better understand at what age your puppy would be considered an adult. Thanks!

Is this food supposed to bring little pieces of freeze dry raw food? Because the 20lbs bag we bought doesn't bring any just the kibbles and when we bought the smaller bag it did bring the small white pieces which my pup loved
- Hello! Yes, the Raw Boost should have our Raw Boost Mixers in them. If you ever come across a bag that doesn't have the freeze-dried raw in it, please reach out to us directly at cservice@instinctpetfood.com so we can learn more about the situation.
