My pup was diagnosed with IVDD 2 days ago. 50% chance of walking again. She hasnt wanted to eat and shes taking meds. I want to crate train my 1 year old dog. I bought a "medium" crate for her , shes 25 lbs - aussie/dashund mix so shes kind of long shaped. The measurments on the box are for a dog even taller/wider than mine... but the crate doesnt really seem big enough for her to turn around in (unless she kind of squirmed up into a circle). Do you think I need to buy a larger crate? Why does the size on the box say its good for the dog's size.. / ?
I have 3 Maltipoos who love chewing their beds. We find ourselves buying them all a new bed every couple of weeks. Does anyone know why? One of our dogs gets aggressive with chew toys so the only toys we met them play with alone are tennis balls. Is there any advice or any medical issue that could be the problem? They usually stop destroying the bed once they get all of the stuffing and padding out.

Hello. We have a 9 week male Morkie named Grits. We are trying to potty pad training and crate training. We let him out every 2 hours and let him do his business. Then we play with him for a bit, then back to the crate. Our question is, can we move the crate upstairs with us when we go to bed? The wife would really like for him to sleep in bed with us,but not until he is potty trained
My dog is a GSD We feed him rice and milk. We use wipes with a fragrance to clean him off. He goes to sleep alot, bites. When he gets up, he urinates instantly, takes his food, plays and then goes back to sleep. He doesn't make alot of noise/bark He shakes when he is sleeping He takes poop 2 times. One time today. He licks/bites his left hind leg alot Vet said to give him deworm on day 35 and vaccination on day 42. He is also 27 day old. Should we be worried about anything?
