Now that he’s had the rabbit a few times, as soon as Garry sees the pouch he is chirping and meowing and bumping my hand. Cat approved for sure.

Cats LOVE This Food!

I have been trying out different brands of cat food with rabbit for my kitty with IBD. She cannot tolerate any chicken whatsoever, and chicken is unfortunately in many foods, even if they are not chicken-flavored. Both of my cats lick their plates clean when I feed them this. And my kitty with IBD seems to be feeling better, no throwing up since we switched to this food, and she is very interested in eating again. That tells me all I need to know. It has been such a relief after many trial and errors! I highly recommend this food, even though it is pricy. And I highly recommend rabbit as an alternative protein for cats. It seems like a very natural thing for them to eat, and I think they know it too.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I'm afraid my cat snubbed. It did not want it would not eat it. We had to give a regular foodude. I don't think it was a good match for my cat.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I bought this a few days ago, and now my picky eater is eating again! Now, he should start gaining the weight that he lost because he wouldn't eat!

Merrick Backcountry Real Rabbit is the only wet food my cat will eat. Everything else ends up in the garbage. I was upset to hear from my pet store that you were not going to be making the rabbit in the near future. Please tell me they are wrong.

Not for the kitten... but the dog loved it.

I thought cats ate rabbits but apparently that is not the case. My garbage pail kid actually turned her nose up at this. I tried this one after she snubbed the Merrick Backcountry Duck recipe. My tiny little pocket panther eats anything, no one's food in this house is safe from her - not even the dog's food, so for her to walk away from 2 different flavors of this has me convinced she smells something in the base of the recipe she wants no part of.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I switched my senior cat to this when she began to throw up Merrick Purrfect Rabbit canned food. She really liked it in the beginning but eventually began to throw this up as well. I fed in small amounts to overeating--which she tends to do with gusto --so she wasn't throwing up from eating too much. I don't know what happened to Merrick's rabbit source, but the response was so violent that she would throw up almost immediately as if her stomach was being inflamed by the food. My vet suggested a food change. Now she's on a chicken flavor for sensitive stomach, which seems to be more tolerable to her.

No, I do not recommend this product.
