One of the most important factors in your cat’s care plan is feeding them tasty and healthy food. At Petco, we carry a huge selection of the best wet cat food pouches that your cat will love.
As with other food and treats for cats, it’s all about moderation. Too much cat food can sometimes cause all sorts of issues, including an upset stomach, vomiting and diarrhea.
Most domestic cat breeds should consume somewhere between 2 and 4 pouches of wet cat food a day. If your kitty is underweight or a larger breed, like a Maine Coon, you may need to go on the heavier side when it comes to mealtime. Just be sure to consult your veterinarian about how many pouches they should eat in a day.
We carry several different flavors of soft cat food in pouches. Give your pet a tuna and salmon-flavored bowl for breakfast, and then treat them to a grain-free rabbit recipe for dinner. In addition to a variety of tastes, we also carry natural cat food pouches for both kittens and adults.
Yes, most of the food pouches we offer can be recycled as easily as an aluminum can.
The general consensus for most wet cat food brands is that they shouldn’t be left out for more than 1 or 2 hours indoors at a moderate room temperature. Any longer than that and it will dry out, congeal and has the possibility of creating lingering odor.

What should I look for when buying cat food? Blossom likes wet but she occasionally throws up ( especially if it's in gravy or sauce) and Kenwood likes dry but will also eat Blossom's food if available. Right now Blossom is eating Purina Pro Plan and Kenwood is eating Fancy Feast Filet Mignon and w/ seafood and shrimp. Both are inside cats with little to moderate activity . Blossom is 9 years old and Kenwood is 3 1/2. Kenwood is a big black cat and slightly overweight while Blossom is small.
Hi. I'm feeding my cats both wet and dry. The dry food's crude protein have only 25% while the wet food in pouch have only 7%, but the canned food have 10% of the same brand. The quality of cat food of both wet and dry was good but I'm just worried about its crude protein. Why do you think they low the crude protein when it's in the pouch? Is this ok?
I have tried a new food and my cat likes it. It is 'tuna in jelly', from Whiskas. One pouch of 85g, he eats almost all of it (leaves a little bit of it uneaten). I have seen on internet that tuna causes yellow fat disease. Can i feed it to him once a day? Also he is an adult cat. I don't know the exact age(i found him he was a stray and he's been with me ever since.) A picture of pack contents is attached.
My cat is addicted to Purina Fortiflora. In addition to being hideously expensive she won't eat her food without it. She goes through at least 2 packets a day.
My cat is very picky with food, is there any good brands for active cats that he may like?
what is the bread of my cat?
