Feed free choice to non-breeding, mature, fully-feathered birds. Adult birds should eat approximately 1/4 cub (17 g) per lb (0.45 kg) of body weight daily, but amounts will vary based on species, size, and activity level. Scatter food directly on the water, where it will float, or it may be fed in a long, shallow trough of water, which will prevent the food from floating away from the birds.
It is always good practice to wash hands thoroughly after feeding and/or handling pets. This diet is not for human consumption.

I foster an American Chinchilla rabbit for a local rescue. He has one ear and is about 7lbs, but is pure skin and bones. I got him 2 weeks ago, and since then the rescue and I have been working on helping him gain weight. He's been on alfalfa pellets and Timothy hay. I've added rolled oats for his fur and nails too. He gets 3-4 cups of vegetables a night. About 5-6 different types of rabbit-sage vegetables. None are high in sugar except for an occasional carrot to help his weight. He hasn't gain
Is there any rule for feeding pigeon? I mean is there any body weight to diet ratio that needs to be followed? My pet pigeon is 3 years and it's weigh is 250 grams. Due to injuries his medication is going on. I need to feed him orally using liquid based solutions. Based on the body weight how much grams or milliliters of pigeon food shod I give using a syringe?
In past week my amazon 's changes; watery, sometimes foul smelling droppings; lethargic w/eyes closed; makes an unusual & quiet honking sound. I have just changed her food, but when I have done this in past she was fine.
My bird has switched to Lafeber’s Daily Diet pellet food. She gained too much weight with the other food she was on. I noticed she is eating it, but it’s turning into something similar to sawdust. She does seem to eat the dust though. I don’t know to give her more or not. I’m giving her 30cc of it a day. I don’t want her to get malnutritioned, but I don’t want her to gain weight. She needs to lose weight. What should I do? Should I have her eat the dust that’s left, or give her more pellets?
Are these steps true about making your own recovery food (DIY Critical Care) Pour Warm Water or chamomile tea over a 1/4 cup of pellets in a bowl Allow to sit for about 5 mins, letting the pellets fluff Add additional water or tea and mix well to make a pudding like slurry.
Hello I have garde Dane puppies there are 14 days old now ! We start bottle feeding the puppies because mom is on meds ! My 6 year old dove had loose stools last week, the vet rec bland diet for a couple days. She didn’t poop for 3 days! Now her movements are small and begin consistent but loosened up at the end. What can I do? She is acting normal, not lethargic, she eats when I give her food, and drinks water, pees normally... I give her Merrick’s or Whole Earth Farms wet food with Taste of the Wild dry on a normal basis. Would only giving dry food help?
A duck came into our backyard and laid 11 eggs that all hatched today. animal control can't pick them up and told us to keep them for 3 days. how do we take care of them? it's around 50degrees F out. we put them in a plastic storage container with a heat lamp indoors. what do we feed them? how much water should we place inside their cage?
What quantities should I feed my 4.5 months old puppies? And should I feed them for 2 or 3 times per day? Their food is Mera junior 2 12.5 KG. (Also any clue when will I need to reorder the 12.5kg, for how long will it last?). Thanks in advance!
I have duck and chickens together is this going to cause fights between the ducks and chickens. I have a duck that has a hard time walking and laying down. This is the only duck that has this problem. The duck eyes look like there foggy. The duck can walk strait but when the eyes look foggy does this mean that the duck is going blind. Should this duck be on a different type of food than the others. The food that I am giving the ducks is corn. Could the duck have a disease?
