Ok so I have an issue. Its getting cold here and we are looking at some very heavy snow this year. All three of our dogs are rather thin coated. The older two refuse to potty outside if its too cold. Would sweaters help? Also the youngest is less than two pounds (tiny chihuahua mix) and even though he's not allowed outside yet we like 2 to 4 inches above our floor tend to get cold no matter what temperature we keep the house at how can I help him stay warm?

Why does my dog hate wearing sweaters? I have a Chihuahua that is very sensitive to allergens. She is even allergic to the distemper vaccine. She itches all the time. I am pretty sure it is her diet. I have tried several kinds of food, from mid level expensive to very expensive. She still itches. I have bathed her in oatmeal soap, soap that is supposed to be for sensitive skin, and even tried conditioner. I am at a loss as to what to do. And if you are wondering, I cannot find one single flea on her. HELP!
