I purchased this today to bathe my Great Dane. I followed the directions to a "T". Does not work, a waste of my money.

Although I wan't 5 stars worth of impressed with the soap dispensing, the Furminator brush not only did a great job of cleaning my dog, but I also used it to help brush my dog's hair while I was drying him with a blow dryer and he loved it.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift stocking stuffer for my dog. I just used it today and I was so disappointed. It did not work as stated on packaging. The shampoo did not dispense. I first tried with the plastic cover as directed, then without. Not one drop of shampoo was released, even if I pushed on soft button on top. I ended up just using the bristle brush during his bath. I already have one of those for bathing. What a waste of money. I sure hope they honor their money back guarantee.

I was unsure about this product, but I figured I’d give it a try. It works great. I’m really happy that I tried it. Our dogs have very short hair and the brush works wonderfully.

If I could return this, I would. It’s horrible. I tried putting the shampoo in, and using it, putting the plastic thing on top of the shampoo like instructed and didn’t work. I have a Golden Retriever, you don’t really have time to play with this... so then I gave up and decided to just use it as a brush, then I couldn’t unscrew the top because my hands were slippery because of the shampoo. It was a mess. Then I tried just squirting her with more shampoo and use this just as a brush, it didn’t lather. I wanted this to work since Golden’s have that dual coat but it just wasn’t worth the hassle.
