I got this cage in 2019 of July and now my gecko is to big so I would recommend this for a starter version

I just bought and set this up and it is beautiful. My only complaint is that Petco store said my chameleon needs two lights. A heat light and also a uvb light. I have the heat bulb in now as I just brought the little guy home, but not sure what to do about the uvb light; am I to pop out the heat light during day and plug in the UVB and keep switching them. I thought of buying another light fixture, but cannot find one that is 12" accross. Suggestions?

While shipping took a couple weeks (local FedEx took awhile since it is a larger item) it only took a week to get from CA to KY and arrived in one piece. Only complaint is how poor quality the styrofoam background is but I plan on leaving it in since it does seem like it'll be nice for the crested gecko to climb on and hide in the little crevices.The plants are a bit sharp and the vines shed little peices. You do also have to buy the lightbulbs for the top piece (which isn't attached to the lid) so they make sure you get the correct ones for whatever animal you're housing. Overall it's pretty much what I expected.

I bought this a month ago for 1xmale and 3 female crested geckos and it's perfect. Plenty of room, places to hide and I love the front door opening. The light it comes with only takes up to 25 watts so it wouldn't be good for anything requiring high heat but for these guys it's fantastic! Just a couple of regular 25 watt bulbs for viewing and to provide the proper light and dark cycle my cresties need and we're good to go!

I ordered this Monday August 28 with petcos 3-5 shipping; well let's just say By Friday I was ordering this same product from Amazon paid $ 20 more but I had the product in 3 days. Petcos 3-5 shipppng took 18 days !!!!! Then I returned it to the store. Product itself is AMAZING perfect for our two chameleons until they out grow this.

I got this set before I decided to make my terrarium a Bio-active Vivarium, as such most of the additions are not usable for me. but I found the Terrarium is a perfect fit for the bio-active vivarium I have set-up, I added a waterfall and mister to maintain the humidity.

We just got the tank a couple of weeks ago and the light hood does not work so we're told by the manager at the store we ordered it thru that we should contact the manufacturer, I will be calling them today with hopes of getting a new light hood so my daughter is able to see her Gecko.

The kit comes with everything you need to make a quick start into arboreal New Caledonian geckos, such as crested geckos. It comes with nice fake plants and all the basics to get started if you aren't concerned with a bioactive setup. I, however, reimagined this kit as a bioactive enclosure. It is the perfect size for a single crested gecko, has great ventilation, holds humidity well, and I love the compact florescent hood! If you use 60-watt equivalent LED bulbs in the hood, you get all the light you need to grow live plants in the terrarium. I could not be more pleased with this enclosure.
