We recently socialized and adopted a couple of feral kittens. They were bolting their food so quickly that mealtimes became frantic. The licking mat has worked perfectly to slow them down. They took to it without hesitation and have no problem extracting all the soft food that's been smeared on and smushed down with the back of a spoon. The mat is plenty sturdy for cats, although it probably wouldn't hold up with a chewer. It's easy to clean with a little scrubbing. Recommended!

My puppy loves this lick mat! We use it DAILY... I’ve put plain yogurt and canned pumpkin onto so far. When she had meds prescribed by the vet, we mixed them into the food and my pup “licked” up her medicine! The only caution is putting food on all 4 sections at the same time... my puppy kept stepping on the front food to get back to the rear lick areas and then her paws and the surrounding ground got all gross.

Is this dishwasher safe?

    The back of the label says “non toxic, microwave safe, freezer safe, dishwasher safe.” It’s typically recommended to put them on the top shelf of the dishwasher.
