Great for 6 year old Golden with torn ACL

Apollo07

My 6 year old golden tore his ACL. Using this along with carprofen has let me avoid a costly surgery. It took his several weeks, but he's finally not limping and his personality is back! I recommend it for any dog who has arthritis or ligament injuries.

Yes, I recommend this product.

My vet recommended Cosequin for my dog, but he won’t take pills. He paws through everything I use to try to hide them. The chewy consistency of these supplements is different enough that he doesn’t realize they are pills and thinks they are a new kind of treat.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Don’t necessarily want to give a bad review, but it definitely gave my dog diarrhea. She does have a sensitive stomach so I’m not surprised, but I had to return…

Can my six year old shepherd mix with a sensitive tummy take this?

  1. I have four large dogs...husky mix, Aussie/Healer, Staffordshire terrier and a Catahoula/Dane mix. The dane mix started having issues with his appetite after about a week. The others showed no signs of problems. I stopped all of them until I figured out the problem....I'm going to start back up on the three who had no issues.

How much & how often is this fed?

  1. The proper amount is based on your dog's weight which is on the container. You give them more in the beginning to build up their system then back off for stability.
