I have two cats, and one of them is getting chubby. How do you put one on a diet in a two cat household? I tried putting my svelte kitty’s food on the counter because only he can jump, but the portly puss is a grazer and leaves his food for later, and señor svelte eats that instead. They eat Blue Buffalo Indoor dry food daily, with a shared can of Fancy Feast every Saturday.

I've been feeding my cats Candidae food, dry hairball control kibble and wet food 2x/day. They like the dry, but LOVE the wet. However t's quite expensive and that brand only carries 3 oz cans of wet food which makes calculating feeding amounts difficult. I've been giving them a mix of three types of dry food (Science Diet urinary health, Blue Buffalo healthy aging, and Blue Buffalo Indoor hairball control mature). Is this a good idea to mix these three together in their bowls? Hello, I have a 4 month old kitten and a 4 year old cat. It says that I need to feed them different foods but the kitten tends to eat whatever is down. Can I feed them the same food? I work and the dry food is down during the day. (It’s only a cup and a half for both)
