What is the best and safest chew toy for a 7 month old Bassett?
I'm struggling to find toys that are fun and suitable for my 9 month old gsd pup. I have a kong, a kong ring and a couple of rope toys. He seems to like the kong for a little and the rope toys are fun for tug of war. I have children with stuffed animals and I don't want him to attribute those to chew toys if I get puppy toys that looked like stuffed animals...Also for chew time are Bully sticks the safest/best thing I can give him or do you have any recommendations for that as well?

We have a power chewer ! Since we adopted our Rhodesian mix at 4 mos , we have learned what chews are unsafe, and to supervise him . He does best with benebones, antlers, selects kings if they are solid . He slowly eats them, spits out kong pieces . We are used to hearing him contently chewing . We praise him. . He is very healthy and happy . The problem: I was hearing him chewing and it sounded different . He was eating my husbands leather shoe! He is challenging commands he knows as well! ??

Almost a year I had my first dog. In a few weeks Kyro is due for Canine Distemper & Parvovirus Vaccinations along with Fecal Flotation Test. Of course I do not want to spend money needlessly. Is there any reasons to request any Blood tests? Kyro is a heavy chewier. He has a Deer Antler which is lasting a LONG time, Nylar Bone from almost Day one and he's working on his third Tire toy.
