I bought this recently and the clips broke. Petmate please make this with locking carabiner clips and a traffic handle on the splitter right near the clip. Why do dog leash lakers still use these olf snap clips??? Not heavy duty enough- dangerous. NOT FOR LARGE DOGS

It was too difficult to hold two reel leashes with our older dog and a new puppy so this was a good solution. There’s adjustments on each extension so you can shorten one or both.

how long is the double portion of the leash?

From the connector to the clip is about 2 feet fully extended (so I foot, fully retracted). From the connector to your hand is about 3.5 feet.

Does this leash (SKU:375470) have a clip to clip onto a regular dog collar? or does it only work with/fit the Take Two (SKU:375683) extension?
