Got this tank for my first betta since I didn't want him in a small one gallon tank and I wanted to add live plants. Fits perfectly on my nightstand. Although I didn't realize the lid was sold separate, thankfully my betta hasn't tried to jump out.

This tank (2.5 gal) leaked after only one hour. I had only filled it halfway to leak test and it still could not support that small amount of water. The leak was not just a drip, it was a continuous slow stream of water out of the bottom right corner near the rim. Super disappointed in the quality and will not be buying from Aqueon again. Ultimately, I had to eat the cost because Petco is too far away (I had it delivered).

I've had this for 5 days, went to set it up and fill it with water and it's leaking at the bottom.. I've already spent hours of time and over $50 buying supplies to create a custom backing for it. So that was a waste

Was a bit unsure based on mixed reviews but decided to buy it anyway. Worked out REALLY well for my tiny pico saltwater anemone tank. The glass is very clear and love the rimless look. The tank is surprisingly long and gives a nice viewing area. It also fits the equipments nicely on the back. I've already ordered a second one to replace my other brand 5 gallon that doesn't look very great. Would strongly recommend that you grab one, especially if you can find a deal!

The glass on this tank is only 3mm thick and is held together with a hope, wish and a whisper of silicone. For reference, a more solid aquarium would have at least 5 mm, along with a respectable amount of silicone that makes everyone feel confident about its ability to do it's job as a fish tank and hold water. Thankfully, I only purchased this tank in the smallest size, as I would not feel comfortable using this tank in a larger size, given how thin the glass is. Giving it 3 stars because of the dimensions, which I like. It's interesting that they advertise lid clips for the tank, as though the lid is included, this feels purposefully confusing as the reality is a slip clips are vital to the structural integrity of the tank. That is most likely how these tanks gets away with having such thin glass and basically no silicone holding it together. All that aside, I am looking forward to setting this little tank up lol definitely would not buy a larger one though

Why is this advertised as a kit when it's just a tank with some brackets? Kits usually come with a top, filter and light, very misleading.
