So I've been thinking about getting an axolotl, but I'm a bit confused as I've never had any type of aquarium. My question is: I've been told to get an Aquaclear 50 HBO filter (plus a sponge one for extra bio media), and to slow the flow by placing plants and things under it. But this specific model's slowest flow is 250 l/h, which might be too little for a 90l tank. But if I set it up to 370 or so (which I find would be the best), the flow might be too strong for the axie! Any solutions? <3

Hi I'm looking to buy a male Betta in the next couple weeks and keep him in a 5 gallon tank by himself. I had a Betta several years ago and remember the hassle of changing the water, so this time around I was looking to buy a filter. What would be a good filter for my situation and how would I set it up? After installing a filter, what would the upkeep of the tank look like? Will I ever need to change the water or use purifying agents?
hello new to the hobby started a 75 gallon tank have now 12 tetras in my tank i am at 6 weeks today my question is if and when should i change my filters on my filter google it first and seen some comments that said never unless the filters start to break apart
My fish has a bump on his head I’ve been using Pimafix and meta fix treatments and not sure what to do now
Hi my fish has just now been acting very strange. He seems to keep tipping over on his side so I think he’s not doing well. I just treated joker fish last week that died of fin and tail rot and used fungus Guard but that wasn’t supposed to hurt other fish in the tank. I just did a water change today and the ph and ammonia is fine in the tank. He has no signs of any fish rot if anything he’s a bit faded. I used some things in the tank cleaning like stress enzyme, accu-clear, ammo lock.
